Hola

Hello!! Well, where to begin. So much has gone between Thanksgiving and now! I just finished a two week CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) training course, and now all that's left is to take the state test and I'm officially a CNA. I just have to practice taking blood pressure, it's kind of tough!  I'm also having a ton of fun with my ski class that I'm taking through the U. Every Thursday we go to Alta and ski with our own instructor for about two hours. Last week, only two of us showed up, so it was pretty laid back. Class isn't until 1 pm, but I can ski all day for an additional $10. How sweet is that!
I'm going to start up ice skating lessons again, and complete Adult Level TWO ;) There are four levels, and I have a goal to complete all four! I've also been indoor rock climbing three times this week, and it's so much fun! It's such a great way to build strength and have fun at the same time!
Matt, Me, and Lauren rock climbing in Provo
Also, the other night, Kim (my roommate), Nate, Colby, Mattie and I baked a chocolate cake! It was sooo tasty. Here are some pictures of us, and I'm not sure who has or hasn't seen my roommate, but she's in there too :)

The batter is the best part!!

Check out this wall of ice!!
Life up here is really great. So far my classes are going well, and I'm having a LOT of fun hanging out with everyone up here! This is random, but for my political science class last semester, we had to write a paper about our political views and why we think that way (based off of our analysis of how we were raised, what influenced us, etc.) and my professor had this to say about mine:

"Stephanie,
This is one of the best essays in our class. Your examples are very well selected, and I can see how these examples have directly influenced your political identities and ideas. Your specific examples on abortion, foreign policies, and insurances show that you are very interested in society and politics. You examined problems the U.S. has very well and pointed very well. I really appreciated your essay."

SWEET!!!! I got an A in that class :D Anyway. Sorry about the long post! I'll make it a point to update this a lot more often!!!
